1.4980 Stud Bolt is made up of a nickel chromium alloy that is stabilized with titanium, vanadium, boron and aluminum. The material has carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, 24% nickel, 13% chromium and molybdenum in the composition as well. The 1.4980 Stainless Steel Fasteners have very high corrosion resistance properties. They are resistant to acids, reducing agents, oxidizing agents, flue gas, brackish water and chloride ion. The Stainless Steel 1.4980 Nuts have 685MPa minimum yield strength and 895MPa minimum tensile strength

These high strength values enable them to be used in high stress applications. The material has 15% elongation rate as well. The material comes under the ASTM A453 specification. There are different standards such as the ASME SA 453 Bs Din En 10269 Stud Bolts, ASME, ANSI and other international standards. The stud bolts are used with a stud which makes the fitting better. The sizes of these bolts range from M1 to M100. The different fasteners such as the screws, nuts and Stainless Steel 1.4980 Washers have different dimensions. The length of these fasteners range from M02 to M33. They could be used in high temperature, high pressure and in high stress applications.
