12 Point Flange Bolt Manufacturer
12 Point Flange Bolt has a 12 point head that is derived by overlapping two hexagon shapes. The nuts are used in high torque applications where the vibrations are high. There are different standards such as the ASTM A193 and different grades such as the Grade M8. The Stainless Steel 12 Point Flange Bolts are made from different grades of materials. The most used are the 304 and 316 material grades.

The 304 is used in general corrosive applications and is used to make the grade 8 12-Point Flange Head Bolt types where the 316 grade material is used to make the grade 8M bolt types. The difference is in the strength and the corrosion resistance. The 316 material is resistant to chloride ion corrosion. So it can be used under brackish water, sea water and marine applications. The High-Strength 12 Point Flange Bolts come in different dimensions according to different standards. The diameter of the bolts range from ¼ inches through 2 inches with the lengths varying from 3mm to 60mm. The SS 12 Point Flange Head Bolt is used in oil and gas, petroleum, petrochemical, engineering, construction, aerospace, marine and shipbuilding industries. Some high pressure, high temperature applications such as heat exchangers, power generation plants also use these bolts. The flange at the head enables extra grip and performance of the M8 12 Point Flange Bolt and other grades. They also have very high service temperatures up to 870 degrees Celsius.
