Duplex UNS S31803/ F51 Flanges range from ½ inches to 24 inches in size with the wall thickness and diameters ranging according to the different ASME, ASTM, ANSI and DIN standards. The flange material is made up of 21% chromium, 4.5% nickel, carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, nitrogen, molybdenum and iron. The Duplex Steel S31803 Pipe Flanges belong to the ASTM A182 specification which specifies components for high heat and high pressure applications.

UNS S31803 Blind Flanges
A182 F51 Flange
The duplex material also has bot ferritic and austenitic phases so that the strength and corrosion resistance are good. The ASTM A182 F51 UNS S31803 Flange has 620MPa minimum tensile strength and 450MPa minimum yield strength. The flanges also have 290HB max Brinell hardness and 25% elongation rate. There are different types of flanges based on the functionality, face and production. The UNS S31803 Flange can come in flat face, raised face or ring type joint based on the face. The functional types vary as slip on flanges, welded neck flanges, lap joint flanges and socket weld flanges. The SA182 S31803 Slip On Flanges are used with seamless pipes for better connection precision. The flange can allow pipes to move through the flange. There are A182 S31803 Threaded Flanges, screwed flanges, forged flanges and plate flanges as they are produced. The threaded flanges are used with threaded end pipes. The flanges range in pressure classes differently from class 150 through class 2500.
