Grade 10.9 Bolt are made up of carbon steels and low boron steels. The composition includes carbon, phosphorus, sulfur and boron. The Grade 10.9 Bolts have high strength and are suitable for structural applications where high strength is required. The minimum tensile strength of the fasteners is 940MPa and the minimum yield strength is 830MPa. They also have high hardness levels.

The Grade 10.9 Bolt can come in different types such as hex bolts, allen bolts, stud bolts and so on. There are also other fasteners in this grade such as screws, nuts, washers and fittings. The different types of fasteners serve in different capacities in the vast application range. The High Tensile Grade 10.9Socket Head Cap Screw can be used as a self-tapping screw as well. Due to the high strength of the screws, they can drill their own pilot holes as they are driven into the soft material surface. One of the most used types of fasteners is the Grade 10.9 Hex Bolts which have better grip with tools. Hex tools can be used to easily drive the fasteners. The size of the fasteners range from M20 through M100. They can come with different coating options as well. The Grade 10.9 Screw and other fasteners can be zinc plated, plain or hot dip galvanized to improve the corrosion resistance and the wear and tear resistance
