The inconel 718 flanges are produced from Ni Cr alloy. It is very dense, heat resisting, acid resisting, has high strength, but is expensive. Available flanges come in different dimension, size, and specification depending on the type of flange. The explained flanges are ASTM B564 for stainless steels and nickel alloy flanges. Inconel 718 Flanges Manufacturer in India, These flanges belong to the ASTM B564 specification. The ASTM B564 Inconel 718 Threaded Flange, forged flange, screwed flange and plate flange types are available. The threaded flanges are used with threaded pipe ends. The female threaded flange end and the male threaded pipe ends join together to make the connection.
The face type of the flanges vary as flat face, raised face or Alloy 718 Ring Type Joint Flange as well. The ring type joint is achieved by having two halves of the flange with a grove on the disc face and ring to embed into the groove. When tightened, the ring is compressed into the groove and makes a leak proof connection. The Inconel 718 Plate flange is one of the commonly used types. There are different types such as blind flanges, socket weld flanges, orifice flanges and lap joint flanges.
The DIN 2.4668 Socket Weld Flange has a socket welded onto it which holds the pipe during the connection operations. The flange can either be bolted, welded or both methods applied to connect the pipes. The UNS N07718 Pipe Flange has 50% nickel 17% chromium and carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur and copper in the composition. this allows the flanges to have 930MPa minimum tensile strength and 482MPa minimum yield strength with 45% elongation rate. The material also has 1350 degrees Celsius melting point which allows the flanges to withstand high temperatures.
