Ferralium 255 Fasteners are made up of a super duplex grade that has high strength, high corrosion resistance and high wear and tear properties. The material is also expensive and is used only when necessary. The Ferralium 255 Bolts have 720MPa minimum tensile strength, 860MPa minimum yield strength and 16% elongation rate. The material is made up of 24% chromium, 5.5% nickel, 3% molybdenum, copper, carbon and manganese in the composition.
Ferralium 255 Fasteners
Super Duplex Ferralium 255 Nuts
ASTM F61 UNS S32550 Bolts
It has a high Brinell hardness score of 220. So the Super Duplex Ferralium 255 Fasteners can withstand high wear and tear, high pressure, high stress and high loads as well. There are different types of bolts such as stud bolts, hex bolts, Ferralium 255 Nut Bolt and so on. These bolts come under ASTM A276 and A476 specifications for high temperature, high pressure services. The material standard is ASME A182 F61. The Alloy 255 Fasteners are used in high strength parts of heat exchangers, power plant applications, oil and gas applications, off shore oil drilling rigs, mechanical engineering applications, construction applications and so on. The F61 FerraliumFerralium 255 Studs and other fasteners come in sizes ranging from 3mm to 200mm in diameter and the length of the fasteners vary up to 500mm.
